“A Class Act on Any Stage!"

Johnny Watson is the "Nice guy" comedian who can play anywhere and under any circumstance.

The above statement alone is one that does not cover most professional comedians. In a day when most comics are looking for any edge they can find,

many will either go very blue (Dirty or suggestive materiel) or get such a specific act that they will not do well in several situations

or perform with the same crowd enthusiasm in different venues. "A lot of comedians are brilliant, but won't draw a general audience,"

says long time comedian and club manager Jeff Jena of Cincinnati, OH. "Johnny Watson is the great utility guy, who can perform in virtually any place," claims Jena.

Watson is quickly gaining a reputation as being the second coming of Brian Regan. "Johnny is just like Brian Regan; he is squeaky clean and super funny," raves Bob Perkell, who books

the very popular Big's Comedy Club in Fullerton, CA.

The funnyman from New Jersey has performed superbly and consistently as a headliner at clubs and colleges throughout the world

and has even garnered the respect of top moguls in the Hollywood scene. "Watson is simply unbelievable," said Bob Fisher, the legendary owner of the Ice House comedy club in Pasadena, CA. after watching Johnny on stage.

Well-known Casting Director Dean Fronk, who was also in attendance, said, "His bit on dating the prettiest girl's best friend is one of the funniest I've seen all year." Fronk boldly predicted, "That guy (Watson) has the looks, the smarts, and the appeal to be a star in this town." There seems to be great interest in Fronk bringing in Johnny to read for Steven Soderberg's next movie.

"I'm just taking the opportunities as they come and concentrating on getting better and better," said the modest Watson. The interest is not confined to just Dean Fronk. Al Torrie from Proton Pictures, Sally Evans from Tri-Star, and Luis Moro from Reve Entertainment have all shown a huge interest in the potential rising star. "Johnny will be making a major motion picture very soon,"

says Hollywood talent manager Jason Hoffman of KO Talent Management in Burbank, CA.

For now, Johnny Watson continues to bring down house in every city he performs in; sending people home in stitches. He does have plans,

however, of returning to the West Coast for pilot season, as many are chomping at the bit to find a place on television for this truly talented man.
